South of 60 Arts Centre is dedicated to providing a variety of art experiences, for the residents of and visitors to the Madawaska Valley

It stages exhibits, concerts, workshops and children's programs through the spring, summer and autumn, providing an opportunity for residents and visitors alike to experience visual arts as well as music and performance.

The Centre was established in 2001 by the Madawaska Valley Arts Council with funding from the Trillium Foundation and was housed in Killaloe for its first year.

Currently, South of 60 is an independent centre administered by the Township of Madawaska Valley, and is housed in the historic Barry's Bay Railway Station.
