- Reunited
Aug 1 - 24
Opening: Friday Aug 1, 7-9pm
Inspired by the history of the Kashub
people, Fine art photographer Jim Blomfield decided to photograph
both Kaszubys in the same way. He stayed in both Kaszub
regions (Poland and Canada) for extended periods of time
driving the back roads to find scenes, people, and objects
of interest, interacting with the people when situations
arose. This exhibit is a photographic collection of those
impressions and experiences. The exhibit is presented in
conjunction with the 150th anniversary of the arrival in
Canada of the first Kashub settlers.
