About Us
South of 60 Arts Centre Mission Statement
To develop and nurture an arts centre that is dedicated to providing a variety of art experiences, for the residents of and visitors to the Madawaska Valley.
With an aim to:
- out reach and provide access to the arts for all segments of the community
- involve as much of the community as possible in expressing themselves creatively
- provide a venue for both amateur and professional artists to further their developmental goals
- provide arts resources and educational opportunities to the community
- provide artists with an opportunity to experiment /explore media, process, concepts and exhibition opportunities
- provide a supportive meeting place for the community to share ideas/ experiences
- be inclusive of all cultures/lifestyles
- be an asset to the social and economic development of the community
- to support professional artists and endeavour to meet CARFAC standards

Directions
South of 60 Arts Centre is located in the Barry's Bay Railway Station at 19503 Opeongo Line in Barry's Bay Ontario. Barry's Bay is located on the HWY 60 corridor 2 1/2 hours west of Ottawa, 40 min east of Alonquin Park and 50 min north of Bancroft.
The Railway Station is centraly located in the Heritage Square on the corner of
Stafford St and Opeongo Line.
